MTPS Mental Health Staff Supports

Marlboro Township Public Schools places a strong priority on supporting the mental health of students and staff.  We are here to support the academic and social emotional needs of each and every student.  MTPS has a strong system of mental health supports.  The district’s mental health initiatives and District Mental Health Committee are led by Mrs. Dana Tardio, Vice Principal of Marlboro Memorial Middle School and Supervisor of School Counseling, Character Education, HIB, and Mental Health.


The district’s mental health initiative includes six essential Mental Health Staff Supports that are necessary to help address the mental health needs of each and every student.  These supports all work together and are listed in the infographic below:
