Board Voting
As per legislation signed by Governor Christie on January 17, 2012, in August 2012, the Marlboro Board of Education passed a resolution to move its annual school board member election to the November general election, which is scheduled on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Marlboro Township voters will cast their ballots to elect members to their board of education but will not vote on the school budget as long as the budget increase does not exceed a state-determined cap.
Residents may register to vote at the Marlboro Township municipal building, contact the Monmouth County Board of Elections at 732-431-7780 to receive a stamped, self-addressed mail voter registration form, or by clicking here for the link.
Applications for vote-by-mail ballots may be obtained at the municipal building, at each school, at the Board of Education Administrative Offices, by calling the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office at 732-431-7790, or by visiting the following link. http://www.monmouthcountyvotes.com/
All members of the Marlboro Township community are strongly encouraged to vote.
