Youth Mental Health 101

This one hour training is taught by Ashley Morolla and was created to provide educators, members of the community and anyone who is involved with direct care of our youth an overview of mental health challenges that can occur during childhood and adolescence.

This training provides insight into what risk factors for mental illness are and how to recognize warning signs that a youth may be displaying. The course further teaches that we can help students build on their protective factors in order to create a strong support system and a positive sense of self. Finally, this training explains what resources are available and how to utilize them in times when a youth may benefit from early intervention.
