Supported by a grant from the Marlboro Educational Foundation, our kindergarten students enjoyed a hands-on lesson in planting flowers. Students learned about the parts of a flower, what plants need to survive, and used math skills to measure planting depth, spacing, and growth. This memorable experience brought science and math to life through active learning.
