Family Life Bulletins for Parents and Guardians
The goal of the Family Life Program in Marlboro Township Public Schools is based on the guidelines provided by the New Jersey State Department of Education. It is continuous and developmental at each grade level from kindergarten through eighth grade. The appropriate content is taught through an interdisciplinary approach. Courses sharing the content include health, science, and social science.
It is our belief that the Family Life Education Program encourages responsible behavior within and outside of the school family environment. This will occur through fostering self-worth and self-discipline along with caring and respect for others.
Below you will find links to the Family Life Program Summary that outline the objectives and resources for each grade. If you wish to review the entire curriculum, you may do so on this website on the Curriculum Guides page under Curriculum.
The school community respects the values of the home and family. If there is a particular component of the program in which you do not wish your child to participate, please contact your child’s health teacher and he/she will provide you with the necessary withdrawal form.
